This thing really works, I know it costs a lot to buy, bottom line is that it works. I love it. Non believer now a believer.

Our Digitone device is wonderful and works flawlessly. No more nuisance calls during dinner, or any other time. Thanks for a great product.

Thanks Digitone. I used to get 10-12+ junk phone calls a day. Now my phone only rings when it’s someone I want to hear from. I noticed after my first few weeks of use most telemarketers tried and tried to get past the Digitone, then just gave up and went away. I am getting ready to buy another one and keep it on hand as a spare.

I have had this great product for a couple of months, and I couldn't be happier! It works just as promised. This little box is packed with technology. I
block sales calls and bill collectors (because I have the same name as one of their debtors).
So-this machine can serve many purposes. I don't recommend blocking bill collectors if you really owe the bills, but in my case I am debt free, and even my house is paid off. So you know I'm not gonna stand for any nonsense!! THANKS DIGTONE

THANK YOU! Digitone Call Blocker is worth its weight in gold! I live in Florida and spend a good deal of time working outside in my yard. Now, if the phone only rings once, I don't have to stop what I'm doing, rush inside and discover I've been interrupted by another annoying telemarketer's call.

I wish I would have bought this a long time ago. After putting up with 6-8 nuisance calls a day, now the phone hardly ever rings (except for legitimate purposes). I have only had one call slip through in the past 2 weeks and it is now on the blocked number list with a simple push of a button. I have to admit that I chuckle a little every time I see that light blinking which lets me know some pain in the neck telemarketer was blocked out. I may just buy another one to have for a backup or to give to my parents.

Would you believe we were getting up to 8 telemarketing calls per day here in Mexico? They were relentless with boiler room calls and pre-recorded messages every day of the week including Sunday. We just installed your
Call Blocker 10 and it’s a smashing success straight out of the box. There’s no programming required for basic operation and it’s very simple to program for more advanced features. Peace has returned to our home! Thank you so much!!

I've been looking a device like this for years!
This device is great! I have already blocked 25 area codes that I extracted from a spreadsheet that kept track of every telemarketer, nuisance call I received over several years now. It is working fine and every time I get a blocked telemarketer caller ID showing on the Digitone Call Blocker 10, I check my list on my spreadsheet and see that it is a pest from the past (those evil telemarketers!). Best of all, my Panasonic KX-TG6444 cordless phone system does NOT RING, nor even show the blocked caller ID!!

Hi, I purchased the call blocker for my dad and it works great. It worked so well that I purchased another one for me. It’s easy to install and setup. Your shipping was super fast, I ordered it on Friday and received it Monday.
Thank You Digitone,

Hi Digitone,
Best $99.00 I ever spent. I hooked your product up in under a minute after skimming through your manual and set the controls to block all out of area and unavailable calls with your 72 code. Within 2 hours I noticed three out of area calls that did not ring through.
Marvelous! I work night shift, and now I do not worry I will miss an important call by turning the ringer off. Thank you so much, it is much more peaceful and quiet while I am sleeping during the day, since I do not have to deal with people who are not following the do not call rules and wish to scam me or try to sell me some sort of nonsense anymore.
Again, thank you so much!

I received my order for the Call Blocker 10 very quickly after ordering, set it up and it works great!
It does exactly what was advertised and what I expected it to do. It is one great device. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to block nuisance
calls. In addition, the customer service I received throughout the process was the best I've ever received from any company with which I've conducted business. My calls were returned within just a few minutes and all my questions (there were plenty) were answered completely.
Thanks again,

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Digitone!!!
Finally, phone peace. 20 nuisance calls a day are now lost somewhere in cyberspace. I have a Panasonic KX-TG4031 and the Digitone works perfectly with it. It blocks any and all calls from specific numbers and complete area codes that I have put on my block list. No more first ring that you get with the phone company blocking system either. Nothing but silence until you get a legitimate call. The answering machine in my Panasonic KX-TG4031 works perfectly on legitimate calls and never sees the call on blocked calls. The handset still shows all the incoming calls but none of the blocked calls are allowed to ring through.
Outfrickingstanding!!! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Digitone!!!

I want everyone to know that I am a happy customer. My phone was ringing non-stop with telemarketers, (presumed) charities, unknown 3rd party bill collectors and general nuisances. I thought I would have to learn to live like this ... then I did an internet search and discovered the Digitone Call Blocker 10. Out of the box, it was easy-peasy to install and it was a breeze to block any number I wanted. I am a happy customer and highly recommend that everyone whose phone rings with unwanted calls fight back with the Digitone Call Blocker 10!!!
Digitone Call Blocker ... you ROCK!

I can't begin to say how much I love this call blocker. I have caller ID on my TV screen and I watch as the anonymous and out of area calls come in and then "Zap", their gone! The phone does not even ring. Telemarketers still call under different area codes and as they do, I add the three digit area code to the block list and never hear from them again. The satisfaction of blocking intrusive and unwelcome calls is more delightful. Worth every penny.

So, if you want a call block system that works, go for the Digitone 10!
This is the best thing that has happened to land line phone customers since Caller
ID. Put simply, it works and works well. There are more options as to who, when and what than you can believe. The owners manual contains a valid description of the capabilities of the system, but the actual utilization of the system is proof positive. Thank you Digitone for a product that meets my, and anyone else's requirements. IT IS THE ANSWER TO UNWANTED PHONE CALLS!. In addition, the customer support could not be any better!

Before I had Digitone Call Blocker 10, I hated telemarketers with a passion, now with the Call Blocker I can't wait for them to call me and get hung-up on. Digitone Call Blocker 10 where have you been? I will do everything I can on my end to get the word out, but you need to advertise more. Most Folks I know would gladly pay the price rather then get the telemarketers. All I can say is Keep up the good work and please put me on your news and product updates emailing list.

Hello all at Digitone Call Blocker, Where do I begin? I came across a product called Digitone Call Blocker and having a multi-line system at my business I decided to buy two units for testing and, wow! what a difference this has made to my life. I now have my life and my business back. The Digitone Call Blocker system works so well that we don’t even know that blocked callers have called unless we go to the Digitone Call Blocker unit and check it, instead of the phones ringing. You guys at Digitone are the greatest and have a winning product. Yours truly,

I recently purchased your Digitone Call Blocker. I am very pleased with it. It is filtering and blocking unwanted calls flawlessly. I especially like being able to turn the phone off automatically when we sleep ... no after hours calls. Blocking all but our area code makes filtering telemarketers much easier. Now I only need to block telemarketers in our area code ... only a few of the many out there. We have Comcast Digital Voice and it works with it just fine. We have on-screen caller ID... a non-invited call did not ring the caller ID but did display on the TV as it is supposed to do. Keep up the good work!

Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I am a self employed band instrument repairman. For years I had to answer 4-5 telephone solicitor calls a day, many times only to find no one on the line. These nuisance calls have cost me time and money - and occasionally caused costly mistakes by interrupting my work. What a relief to hear the phone ring only once and know yet another call has been blocked. The "business mode" is perfect for my situation. Your device is worth every penny, especially to anyone in business.

Thanks for a great product.
Your device has saved me from answering the calls that come in from telemarketers on a daily basis.
The phone has stop ringing and I can see by the display log that the Call blocker 10 has blocked the calls.

Dear
Sirs,
I cannot thank you enough!!!
I have been through several months of complaining to the phone company with
no results.
I was told to use their blocking numbers, that did not work.
I was told to report harassment to the police.
I was told to change my number, with no guarantee that it would not
continue.
I was getting phone calls at all hours of the day
and night. I was on someone's fax list, I found this out myself by way
of the internet.
My husband and my sister-in-law were in the hospital and the calls were not
welcomed at 2-3-4 am.
They are both fine now. I purchased your system about a week ago. I
now have a nice quiet house and only wanted calls are coming through.
thank you again,
Rosalie D.

Hi,
I just hooked it up at
my mom's & it appears to be working, thanks so much for all your help.
It gives us peace of mind to know telemarketers cannot reach my mom (who
is 87) & not able to understand that they are preying on her. I think
every senior citizen over 70 should have one of these on their phone to
protect them.
Thanks,

Some
of the "Frequently Asked
Questions" |
|
| 1)
I noticed that some numbers are displayed as "1234" or just
"1" or sometimes more than 16 numbers on the DCB10 when I receive
a call. Is this format legal?
a: No, not
on the public network. According to BellCore Publication
TR-NWT-000031M, Issue 4, December 1992,
it states as a Requirement that: All calling line Directory Number (DN) shall be transmitted
in
Calling Number Delivery (CND) to the Customer Premises Equipment
(telephones) in a 10 digit format. As of late, this network protocol is
being completely ignored by internet spoofing of a number. Since the
internet is not policed by the FCC, this leaves spoofing open to whoever
wishes to employ those spoofing services. However, the Digitone Call
Blocker adheres to these requirements and compels the calling number
received to fit within these 1992 guidelines or be blocked. |
|
|
2) Will the Digitone Call Blocker 10 work on a phone service that delivers DSL on the same line? and What is the
warranty period?
a: YES the DCB10 is completely compatible with DSL and your phones.
For warranty, parts and service, 1 year, with repair options
thereafter.
3) What is the return policy?
a: There is a 30 day guaranteed trial period starting when you receive the product as indicated by the USPS delivery confirmation. On the 31st day you will own the unit and there is no return available, only warranty service. |
|
|
4) I am looking for a device to block
calls from Jamaica, area code 876 as well as 855, 866, 877, 888 and
Unknown callers. Will this
device do that work?
a: YES! Digitone's Call
Blocker 10 is specifically designed to block all harassing out of area
callers from Jamaica and Out of Area, Unknown, Private and more.
|
|
| 5)
Can you tell me if the Digitone Call Blocker 10 keeps the phone from ringing
at all, when it receives unwanted calls? Or does my phone ring once in my
house before it cuts off the call?
a: Yes all your phones connected
directly to the phone company will ring once because the caller ID info
comes in AFTER the first ring. We use that info to hang-up on the
caller. Your options to avoid the first ring is to connect the
phone(s) to the Call Blocker 10 and turn off the phones connected directly
to the phone company. You can also use a cordless phone system to
distribute the ringing around the house instead. This will avoid the
first ring completely. Caller ID is also repeated to all phones
connected to the Call Blocker 10.
|
|
| 6)
Does the Digitone Call Blocker 10 (DCB10) block incoming calls made from
VoIP or Cell phones?
a: Yes. Note that VoIP phone service
uses an ethernet connection to an ATA device, analog telephone adapter,
which still sends the call through to your analog phone from the telephone
network. So, if you are using FIOS or Vonage for example you are
still using analog and the DCB10 works in analog mode and can block any
number originating from anywhere. Some phone companies don't block
calls from cell phones, but the DCB10 does.
True VoIP phones require a broadband ethernet
connection, (no ATA) and an IP address to a router or DHCP server.
If you are using a Panasonic, Uniden, ATT, etc. type phone, you are
using analog.
|
|
| 7)
Will this system work with Vonage or Magic Jack my phone service provider?
a:
Yes! Vonage is a internet based phone
service that uses an (ATA) ethernet to analog adapter made by Linksys or
Motorola that provides you with a Phone port. Your phone is connected
there now but you will simply disconnect your phone and connect the Call
Blocker to that port then connect your phone to the Call Blocker's TEL phone
port. Blocked callers will not ring your phone but all other calls
will pass through.
|
|
|
8)
I'd like to allow all calls including Anonymous, Out-of-Area, Private, etc..
to pass through to the PHONE port including the Caller ID information when
in Business Mode and subsequent to the first ring, Does the Caller ID
get sent to the PHONE port for invited numbers that are not on the Call
Blocker list?
a: The Call Blocker 10 will pass caller ID
through to the TEL phone port for all invited calls with or without a number
when using the Business Mode. It will hang-up on Blocked callers
without passing that ring or caller ID through to the TEL phone port using
First Ring Suppression. |
|
| 9)
Does the Call Blocker 10 pass Caller-ID to the house phones?
a:
The house phones
that are already connected to the phone company (or ATA) will automatically
receive caller ID after the first ring. The phones connected to
the Call Blocker's TEL phone port will also receive the repeated caller ID.
If you have a cordless phone base connected there, all downlinked cordless
phones will receive the second ring and CID using First Ring Suppression.
10) "Can I connect the Call
Blocker 10 to an empty phone socket"
a:
Yes to any available wall phone socket.
and do I need to connect a phone to the
"out" port for it to block out of area calls?
a: No, you
only connect phones there to avoid the first ring or to program the unit.
Otherwise, the phones all ring once and then stop on blocked callers.
Also, will it block "Political
Calls?
a: Yes, but
political callers can use regular numbers so all you have to do is block
their calls after they have called you, just once. After that they
are blocked for good. You can also pre-program in their numbers if
you already know them.
